LAUNCH Music Conference and Festival is quickly approaching, and MOOSE is anxiously awaiting its arrival. This year’s conference will begin on Thursday April 26, 2012. Pittsburgh natives, Rusted Root, will be performing to kick off the festival. Rusted Root has been together since 1990. Band members include: Michael Glabicki (vocals and guitar), Liz Berlin (vocals and percussion), Patrick Norman (bass and vocals), Jim Donovan (drums and percussion), John Buynak (percussion and winds) and Jim DiSpirito (percussion). Their hit “Send Me on My Way” which was originally released in 1994, proved to be a hit for the group. They have been performing across the country since the release of their latest album, “Stereo Rodeo” in 2009.
We are happy to have them as part of LAUNCH this year, helping to start the music- filled weekend off right. The show will be held on Thursday evening, April 26 at 9:00pm. Doors for the event open at 7:00 pm and the concert will be held at the Lancaster County Convention Center, Freedom Hall. The show is free for all VIP badge holders and attendees with a LAUNCH wristband or weekend wristband will have a $10 charge to attend the show. Tickets can be purchased for this concert online for $18 or the day of the show for $22.
